.ASIA is closing in
The total number of residents in the Asia-Pacific region is estimated to be around 4 billion people accounting for 60% of the world’s population. Compared to the 389 million people in Europe, these figures give an interesting perspective on the huge potential of .ASIA. The sheer number of people combined with a rapid growth in the Internet usage of 240% within the last seven years indicates that .ASIA has the potential to become one of the major TLDs in a very short time.
How will registration of .ASIA domains work?
Speednames Business will accept applications for all Sunrise phases and for Landrush.
The .ASIA domain extension is for companies, organisations and individuals with an eligible presence within the "DotAsia Community", i.e. the 73 Asian-Pacific countires covered by the .ASIA extension (read more here). Should your company not have a local presence in the Asian-Pacific region, Speednames Business will offer a local presence service that will allow your application to be accepted.
Queue registrations
Speednames Business will offer a queue product for the different launch phases. Gathering all the relevant documentation for you application can be a tedious task. A .ASIA queue registration will ensure that your application gets processed in due time before submittance to the DotAsia registry.
